We're new to karting this season, and the new 2014 tire rule has upset my plans to run the existing Mojo's that came with the kart we bought. I am hesitant to spend the money on new tires at least till partway thru the season. My son has never driven before so Id rather not use NEW rubber for "training wheels". So if anyone has a set of 7.1 x 5 4.5 x 5 that are taking up space please let me know. If not ill have to bite the bullet, but am trying to avoid that, at least for now.
See you next weekend

Thanks Tim, but those are YLB's, so not allowed. Nothing used on eBay as of now, but I will keep looking. Can anyone answer if my current Mojo's would be allowed for practice only?

Joe,
You can uses anything to practice. You just need to have the correct tires to be eligable for points.

Good. That's what I was hoping for. That said, I popped for some new Bridgestones on eBay to use after the first few practices.
Thank again.
