Just a reminder that every minor must have a parent sign their minor release as well as have the competitors signature on the back of the form. If you are bringing a child that is not yours into the pits with you, a parent of that child MUST sign a minor release in front of a notary. IKF requires us to have birth certificates on file for all minor drivers. If we have one on file from last year then we do not need a new one. If you have a new minor driver then please bring a copy with you to the track. A photo copy will work... Here is a direct link to the Minor Release that you need. www.ikfkarting.com/OfficePages/PDFs/Forms/MinorReleaseForm.pdf

Tim, Dwayne Pollock here, I have all my paperwork for Cody filled out plus member fees ready to go. Does the release form need to be notarized, I get different answers. Also will practice start on March 20th still and is it ok to bring all the papers and check to the track or do you want me to mail it. I would like to attend the meetings but and unable I work every Tuesday night. My member fees also includes the $25 for the IKF rule book. Thanks Dwayne.

Here is a bit of clarification, These are the circumstances the minor release needs to be notarized: - If you are bringing a minor and you are not the legal guardian.
- If you are the legal guardian and you do not want to have to fill out the minor release every time you are at the track.
